Description

Get the new year off to a great start by learning a new way to nurture your mental health! If you are attracted to beautiful things, chances are you would find drawing a rewarding pastime. After the unprecedented events of 2020, you may have discovered how important it is to have a fulfilling hobby. Drawing is one of the simplest and most natural ways of expressing our ideas. Unfortunately, many adults feel so self-conscious about the quality of their drawings that they even worry about taking a drawing class even though it will help them improve…and that’s why I‘ve created this ever-popular workshop to share the fundamental freehand drawing and sketching techniques you need to get started.

This workshop will be 3 sections with micro-breaks in between each part.

  • You will get help understanding how to use the 5 basic Art Elements – line, shape, colour, tone and texture.
  • You will be shown the best tools and techniques you need to sketch the world around you.
  • You will learn ways to use ‘the process’ of drawing as a way to relax and destress.
  • You will build your overall ART confidence so you feel ready to branch out into trying other processes and materials.

I will be so gentle with you, you will NOT feel even a twinge of embarrassment. Drawing is a totally portable and cost-effective hobby that is also the perfect stress reliever.
