Introduce yourself to the mystery and magic of using watercolour paints. In just one session you will fall in love with this easy to set up and easy to clean up Art medium that gives instant results.

Cyanotype printing is a fun way to create beautiful artworks using the magic of the sun.
During this workshop, you’ll discover one of the oldest photographic printing processes in the history of photography but you won’t be using a camera.

You will be taken on a journey of discovery, step by step, about how to draw a portrait so that you will gain the confidence to include faces in your artwork whenever you are sketching or painting in the future. Faces are so much fun when you know the basics and they can be very symbolic.

Papier-mâché (or Paper Mache, as it’s often spelled) is an easy and fun way to create durable 3-dimensional objects (like a little bird) and low-relief wall art (like masks).
Often thought of as ‘only for children’, this workshop will prove otherwise as I present an exciting insight into the world of SCULPTURE.

Explore your creativity and make something very useful. Block printing on fabric is FUN and FUNCTIONAL! First, you’ll need to choose your favourite motif, then we will turn it into an original, hand-carved block.

If you ever wanted to paint a canvas-like “real” Artists do, but don’t know where to start, this workshop is your dream come true. Even if you can’t remember ever holding a paintbrush before, you will quickly feel at ease when you’re shown my tried and tested techniques, using acrylic paints and a range of mediums and additives.

This workshop focuses on learning ‘how to analyse what you see’ so that when you practise, you have more ways to approach any subject. The next step logical step is to PRACTISE, then learn how to add even more visual interest by adding COLOUR to your repertoire. I teach how to use a wide variety of drawing materials in my Nature Journalling workshop. These two workshops are designed to complement each other to further your skills and enjoyment.

Learn a new way to practise mindfulness by turning your favourite pictures or drawings into block prints. For me, the focus and concentration required to hand-carve a block, before printing, is very relaxing. I also love the process of making multiple copies of the one design.
